Sedeveria 'Letizia' is a captivating intergeneric hybrid succulent resulting from a cross between Sedum cuspidatum and Echeveria setosa var. ciliata. Named in honor of Letizia Alleruzzo, this hybrid was formally recognized by Jean-Michel Moullec in 2006. Originating from western Chiapas and eastern Oaxaca, Sedeveria 'Letizia' showcases its unique heritage with a charming blend of features from both parent plants.

This petite succulent typically grows up to 20 cm tall, forming a cluster of branching stems. At the end of each stem is a rosette of deltoid leaves, which can reach up to 6 cm in diameter. The leaves are green with fine hairs along the margins and keel, turning red at the edges when exposed to full sun, creating a striking visual appeal. In spring, Sedeveria 'Letizia' produces inflorescences that rise from the rosettes, bearing white flowers in distinctive scorpioid clusters.

Sedeveria 'Letizia' thrives in well-drained soil and full sun, making it an excellent choice for gardens in sunny spots that might be too harsh for other plants. This succulent is well-suited to Australian hardiness zones 9 to 11, tolerating temperatures down to -6.7°C. It's an ideal candidate for rock gardens, containers, or even as a unique addition to indoor plant collections.

This resilient plant requires minimal care, thriving in both optimal and less hospitable conditions. Propagation is straightforward: for shorter varieties, simply lay the plant on the soil and let it root, while taller varieties can be propagated by planting a broken stem directly into the ground. Whether you are an experienced gardener or a novice, Sedeveria 'Letizia' is a delightful and low-maintenance addition to any succulent collection.

First-time customers... Please read our Shipping Guide, in the top or bottom menu, before placing your order.

Please Note:

  • All plants are sent bare-rooted with no pots and soil, or minimum soil only.
  • Due to the drying process necessary for sending plants through the mail, plants may look slightly different than images shown on our website.
  • Some plants may look wrinkled when they arrive, may be somewhat limp, or soft to the touch. This is normal as they have been dried out for a number of days before shipping to avoid rotting in the mail.
  • Succulents are very hardy plants and they will recover quickly. Unpack them as soon as you receive them and follow the simple care instructions you will find with your order.

If you have any questions or concerns at all, please message us via our Facebook page at John & Norma's Succulents for the fastest response.

Worked for only 4 months. Now produces metal shards. Dangerous
Pros: Can be used with one hand. I bought this to have after surgery that left me without use of one arm for a few months. The light blinks when you need to charge it. Only needs a 2-3 min charge for enough juice to open a can. Cons: IT QUIT CUTTING CORRECTLY AFTER 4 MONTHS. I now have to use both hands to hold it in place to get it to latch on to the can. It also requires a few rotations around the top to cut through the seal, resulting in METAL SHARDS! The metal shards are super sharp and almost invisible. I stabbed myself with one enough to draw blood. This is dangerous as the metal could fall into the food when pouring from the can.

Can opener
It doesn't shut off by itself when done and doesn't shut off when I push the button, so after a while it will shut off but when it wants too after you take it off the can ,like 30 seconds. But I do like the way it cuts, a clean cut and lid removal nice.

So simple to use, I'm amazed
Color: Black
Wonderfully helpful. Description is accurate, shipping was quick. I saw a few poor comments, but I have none so far! The can opener has opened cans of several sizes, from tomato paste to large cans of tomatoes; soup cans to strangely shaped. It's opened 30 or so already without loss of power. It's a little noisy, but about equal to that of a stand up opener. It fits in my drawer, which is less deep than most kitchen drawers. Most of all, it's beyond easy to use for arthritic hands. The ONLY CHALLENGE I have is that it sometimes fails to stop when it should. MANUFACTURER: if you read this and have advice, please share. At this point, I'd say this is a great value for the money.
